It was great to have had many lovely people at Neckarau last Saturday!
Despite the weather forecast that included lots of rain and wind, we were lucky at our 5th parkrun and our 18 runners and walkers as well as our 7 volunteers stayed mainly dry!
(first picture: Hurrah, we all stayed dry!)
Since we had a very muddy section along the course, we slightly modified the course to prevent losing a runner or walker in the mud.
We also had 5 personal bests this week! Well done!!
Last week's parkrun tourists were really dedicated and some jumped in their car at 4 am to drive to Neckarau parkrun from the Netherlands, while others drove from Aalen and Stuttgart!
Last week's tourists had their home parkruns at Southwark (UK), Valentines (UK) and at Torrens (Australia).

It was great to see runners from Frankfurt, Tauberbischofsheim and of course Mannheim.
Thank you very much for spending your Saturday morning with us! Thanks so much to this week’s “High-vis-heroes”, without whom we could not run our event.
Last week's parkrun was brought to you by the awesome support of the following fabulous folk:
